Who is SCC?

SCC – Scientific Consulting Company – was founded in 1989 by Dr. Friedbert Pistel, and is today one of Europe's largest privately-owned and independent consulting companies for the registration of agrochemicals, biocides, chemicals, consumer products, feed & food additives and veterinary medicine.

The philosophy of SCC is to replace expensive studies by less expensive expert work, whenever scientifically justified! This philosophy has been very successful for the last two decades, based on our two basic principles of being privately owned and completely independent. SCC intentionally has no laboratories of its own. Therefore, if studies are needed, we are free to contract any laboratory which best suits the needs of our clients. SCC is able to help its clients quickly and reliably, even with the most specific regulatory or scientific question. 

SCC covers all regulatory relevant areas. Its multidisciplinary team of scientists includes the highest level of knowledge about chemistry, food chemistry and safety, analytical chemistry, agronomy, biology, toxicology, workplace safety, geo-ecology and environmental fate, ecology and ecotoxicology, scientific modelling, regulatory and scientific networks.

SCC also has the possibility to make complete CADDY and IUCLID 5 dossiers. To make our work even more efficient, we have the unique Electronic Dossier and Data Management System (EDDMS) for regulatory archiving and the unique Cost and Information Database System (CIDS) to have at all times an actual overview of the current budget situation.
