With the ratification of the withdrawal agreement on 31 January 2020, the UK left the EU and the transition period began, during which the UK and the EU are negotiating their future relationship. After the transition period, Britain's Health and Safety Executive (HSE) will be the national authority regulating pesticides in the UK.
