The European Commission's website provides regulatory information and scientific opinions on questions concerning all types of health and safety risks of non-food consumer products. The Cosmetic Ingredient Review thoroughly reviews and assesses the safety of ingredients used in cosmetics in an expert manner and publishes the results in the peer-reviewed scientific literature. The homepage of the International Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products (AISE) offers as an industry association further regulatory information on consumer products. In addition, targeted risk assessments for selected cleaning products can be found on the HERA homepage.

A comprehensive overview on Chemicals and REACH is provided on the DG Environment website. Since REACH has come into force, the ECHA website is the most important information platform, delivering almost daily news and regular updates on guidance documents including information on the Classification, Labelling and Packaging regulation. CEFIC - an industry association - offers numerous supporting documents and tools to facilitate REACH implementation.
